The Study Course

The Outer Court Study Course contains four initial sections.

  • An Introduction to the Western Mysteries
  • An Introduction to the Qabalah
  • Further Practical Qabalah
  • Foundational Practices in the Western Mysteries

The first of these outlines the vocabulary the Society uses and introduces the techniques and principles of the Western Mysteries, as practised within the Society. The second two sections provide a solid grounding in practical Qabalah with a Jungian edge, while the fourth introduces the principles of the Mysteries in the context of a 21st Century esoteric group.

If completion of these is satisfactory, the candidate may be invited to join the Inner Group. Any candidate offered initiation will then be required to complete a Threshold Course. Throughout the programme you are generally expected to be able to invest circa 30-40 minutes a day for 5 to 6 days a week. We encourage students to take a month off during the year.

The Costs

If you are accepted onto the Study Course, you will be charged a nominal amount to cover costs of paper or electronic copies of the course material and will be expected to provide stamped addressed envelopes for your work to be returned if you do not use email. Please contact us if you want further information on this.
